Class identity, role explanations, trade-offs and beginner selection guidance are original Stratdeck writing. We do not scrape or reproduce third-party guide hubs, builds or rankings.
Blizzard Game Data API
When enabled, official references for playable classes, specializations, spells, talents, items and media are requested server-side from Blizzard’s Game Data API. The UI receives a small normalized record rather than Blizzard’s raw response. Each module displays region, locale, source and refresh date. The “Source” link beside a reference opens the matching public Wowhead page, a third-party site, because Blizzard’s API endpoints require credentials and cannot be opened by visitors.
Freshness and failure
Normalized active references are refreshed on a seven-day cycle and hard-expire after 30 days. A stale entry may be shown only inside that hard window and is labelled cached. When no valid record exists, the reference becomes unavailable while the editorial article remains readable.
Pictures of the dungeons
The banners of the dungeons that are in the game files come from the loading screens of the game client. The five new dungeons that are not in the client yet (The Drowned City, Krol’dok Stronghold, Alcaz Prison, Blackmaw Hold and Shaper’s Terrace) use screenshots that Blizzard Entertainment published in the press kit of the World of Warcraft: Forever reveal on its Press Center. They are scaled and cropped to a banner, credited in the footer of every page, and remain the property of Blizzard Entertainment.
The maps
The map pictures are the map textures of the World of Warcraft: Forever beta client, read through wago.tools, © Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. The places on them (zones, cities, flight masters, dungeon and raid entrances) come from the client’s own tables and are placed from the coordinates the game gives them. Which faction holds a zone is read from the client too. The level range of a zone is read from the client too: the levels it gives to the places inside the zone (dungeon doors left out); zones it gives none, such as Mount Hyjal, show none. Towns and landmarks (AreaPOI) and the docks of the boats and zeppelins (the transport taxi paths) come from the client as well. Dungeon quest givers are read from the same Classic database as the town services. Innkeepers, repair vendors, stable masters, bankers, auctioneers, mailboxes, rare elites and graveyards are read from the same Classic database, so they are the positions of Classic; Forever’s new places have none yet.
Media boundary
